EventsDay: 1 - Fri, August 25, 2023 Arrive in Dublin in the morning
Following arrival at Dublin Airport, you will be met by your driver/guide and escorted to your awaiting motorcoach.
Dublin City Tour
This morning you will enjoy a tour of Dublin - Ireland's capital city on the banks of the River Liffey. You will see The Georgian Squares with their 18th Century houses, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Phoenix Park (the biggest town park in Europe), statue filled O'Connell Street and the fashionable Grafton Street. You will also see Trinity College which houses the famous Book of Kells.

After the city tour, you will check into the Camden Court Hotel for a two night stay.

Day: 2 - Sat, August 26, 2023 Guinness Brewery
This morning you will travel a short distance to the Guinness Brewery founded in 1759 by Arthur Guinness. Here you will enjoy a self-guided tour which concludes with a leisiurely pint of Guinness in the 360-degree roof top bar while enjoying some spectacular views of Dublin City.
Notre Dame vs. Navy
The original stadium dates back to 1872 and has been the home of Irish rugby for many years with the first game being played here between Leinster and Munster in December 1876. The first soccer game was played here in 1971 when Ireland played Italy and since the 1980's it has also been home to the Irish national soccer team.

Day: 3 - Sun, August 27, 2023 Rock of Cashel - Blarney - Killarney
This morning we depart Dublin and travel through the horse breeding county of Kildare and the rich farmlands of county Tipperary to Cashel where you will see the amazing Rock of Cashel. This was the seat of the Kings of Munster from 370 - 1101 and was also a famous ecclesiastical center. You continue to Blarney and visit Blarney Castle to kiss the famous Blarney Stone said to bestow the gift of eloquence on all those who dare. From here you continue to Killarney for a two night stay.

Day: 4 - Mon, August 28, 2023 Ring of Kerry
Today you embark on one of Ireland's most famous tours - The Ring of Kerry. Your first stop will be the Kerry Bog Village where you will visit little thatched cottages and see how people would have lived in Ireland many years ago. Your tour continues through the wild and rugged landscape of The Iveragh Peninsula which has some breathtaking views of the Atlantic coastline. Your tour then winds its way through the Killarney National Park before returning to Killarney.

Day: 5 - Tue, August 29, 2023 Cliffs of Moher - the Burren - Galway
This morning, you bid farewell to Killarney and travel to Tralee, capital town of County Kerry and famous for The Rose of Tralee Festival. You continue to Tarbert where you will board the Shannon Ferry for a 25 minute sailing to Killimer. From here you take the coast road to the majestic Cliffs of Moher which rises to a height of 600 ft over the Atlantic Ocean. Your tour continues through the lunar type landscape of the Burren and along the shores of Galway Bay to Galway City for a two night stay.

Day: 6 - Wed, August 30, 2023 Connemara
This morning you embark on a tour of Connemara, made up of mountains, lakelands and boglands. Because of its wild and rugged beauty it has been the location of many films. "The Quiet Man" with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara and in more recent times "The Field" starring Richard Harris. The magical screnery is a paradise for artist and photographer alike.
Kylemore Abbey
Your tour will include a visit to Kylemore Abbey, built in 1866 and from 1920 to 2008 was home to the Benedictine Nuns. You can visit the Abbey's Victorian Walled Garden which is completely enclosed by a brick and limestone wall and the beautiful Gothic Church built by Mitchell Henry in memory of his wife who died four years after the castle was constructed. On returning to Galway the remainder of the evening is free to wander through the charming old, cobbled stone streets of Galway City.

Day: 7 - Thu, August 31, 2023 Kilbeggan Distillery - Dublin
This morning you depart Galway and travel across the Irish Midlands to Kilbeggan where you will visit the Kilbeggan Distillery. Established in 1757, it is the oldest continually licensed distillery in Ireland and has been distilling and maturing whiskey for over 250 years. Here you will enjoy a guided tour followed by a sample of Kilbeggan before departing. With the taste and aroma of the whiskey still in the air you continue to Dublin and return to the Camden Court Hotel for an overnight stay.
Farewell Dinner at the Merry Ploughboy Pub
This evening you will travel to the Merry Ploughboy Pub for dinner and enjoy one of Ireland's premier shows of Irish music and dance. Entertainment is provided by one of Ireland's leading traditional Irish music groups, The Merry Ploughboys.

After breakfast, with fond memories and newly acquired accents and many stories to relate to friends and family you will travel to Dublin Airport for your flight home.
