HALL OF FAME NEWS UPDATE (1/20/26): The National Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will honor Carlos Beltrán and Andruw Jones, who were elected by the Baseball Writers Association of America, along with Jeff Kent, selected by the Contemporary Baseball Era Committee. Also recognized during Induction Weekend will be Joe Buck, recipient of the Ford C. Frick Award for broadcasting excellence, and Paul Hoynes, winner of the BBWAA Career Excellence Award for baseball writing.
