Boston. After four days of perfect weather, the Baseball Classic welcomed our East Coast hazy, hot and humid. Game time temperature was 96 in Boston.
Travelers enjoyed the game. Boston 15, Miami 5. The Red Sox had 28 hits including 6 home runs. David Ortiz home run was a grand slam.
Also, we had a Fenway Park stadium tour earlier in the day giving everyone a chance to see and hear about Fenway Park history. Travelers sat in the Green Monster seats to see the park from a very unique point. During the tour, travelers stopped for a group picture. The yellow pole in the back left is the famous Carlton “Fisk Pole.” Remember 1975 World Series vs. Cincinnati when Carlton Fisk waved his arms to direct his home run to stay fair!

A new group of friends made a lot of fantastic baseball memories. Cooperstown and New York and Boston.
What a Pleasure!
