Baseball Road Trip
Hit the trail and join us in Phoenix to start this eight day venture around the southwest. After two nights in the desert, and a game at Chase Field, we head to the Mountains - the Rocky mountains. Enjoy two games at Coors Field before we then head to Texas. Games in Arlington and Houston will follow. Beautiful tours of Sedona, the Garden of the Gods and even the amazing AT&T Stadium add to this incredible excursion. Get your camera ready for this one. Wed, May 10, 2023 to Wed, May 17, 2023Pack your mitt, sunscreen and ten-gallon hat for the southern adventure of a lifetime. Start in the desert of Arizona with a game and a visit to Sedona, with its incomparable red rocks. Then, fly up to Denver to check out the Rockies and stop at the Garden of the Gods. Located at the base of Pikes Peak, this National Natural Landmark and popular park features stunning geological formations, rock climbing, and nature trails. From the mountains, we head to Texas, for two more games and a tour of the incredible AT&T Stadium, home to the Dallas Cowboys. The tour heads east to Florida and up to Atlanta to finish the trip. From the southwest across to the southeast, this twelve-day, eight-game adventure is one for the ages. Wed, May 10, 2023 to Sun, May 21, 2023Head down to Southern Florida to start this quick five day getaway. We start in Miami for a game at loanDepot park on Thursday before heading to Tampa and Tropicana Field to see the Rays host the Brewers. The next morning we will fly up to Atlanta to catch a game at Truist Park before heading home. Short but sweet - a great trip indeed. Wed, May 17, 2023 to Sun, May 21, 2023Welcome to the Big Apple for two of the biggest rivalries in the game. First head to Yankee Stadium to catch archrivals Boston take on the Bombers. After a day of sightseeing in New York City, we then hit Citifield for a Subway series matchup with the Mets. The best part of this trip is you will travel like a true New Yorker - by New York subway. With direct train lines to both Yankee Stadium and Citi Field, this will be an adventure for sure. Fuhgeddaboutit! Sat, June 10, 2023 to Wed, June 14, 2023Nothing could be finer than baseball in Carolina! Check out minor league baseball down south this June with the 2023 installment of our always popular, Major Minor. This year there is no major league game on the schedule, just some good old-fashioned (Single-A and Triple-A) baseball. In addition to staying in Durham, Fayetteville and Charlotte, NC for games, we also visit historic Savannah, GA where we catch the famous Savannah Bananas in action. You don't want to miss this zany group at play! This 9-day trip also includes a ghost tour of Savannah and a stop at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Our Major Minor group continues to grow each year, so join us and experience the fun of minor league ball. Thu, June 15, 2023 to Fri, June 23, 2023Enjoy the warm summer weather on this eleven-day adventure up and down the west coast. Catch games in five California cities along with stadium and city tours and enjoy the best the west has to offer. Spend a day soaking up the rays and relaxing on Catalina Island. From SoCal, we fly up to Seattle to complete the journey. Six games and a whole lot of sights to see along the way, make this trip a winner! Tue, June 20, 2023 to Thu, June 29, 2023Kick off this tour in DC and explore our Nation's capital with three days of sightseeing, tours and a game at Nationals Park. Then head up the road to Baltimore to see the Mariners take on the Orioles at Camden Yards. We end the tour in Philadelphia, home of the Liberty Bell, incredible cheesesteaks, and of course the Phillies. After three nights in the Big Apple and games in both NY ballparks, we then spend a day at the Hall of Fame checking out the game's history and learning about the best that ever played. We end the trip in Boston with a game at historic Fenway Park. We packed in some great midwest rivalries along with city and stadium tours and a stop at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in KC. Thu, July 20, 2023 to Sat, July 29, 2023Grab your passport and your baseball mitt as we head to Canada for the start of this exciting 8 day adventure around the Great Lakes. Enjoy two days in beautiful Toronto and catch a Jays game at Rogers Center. Pay a visit to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame on the way to Detroit for a Friday night Tigers game. We are then off to Ohio for games in Cincy and Cleveland sandwiched around a visit to the Football Hall of Fame in Canton! We end the tour at everyone's favorite ballpark - PNC Park in Pittsburgh. Starting in DC with a Nationals game, we then make a "Pitt-stop" at PNC Park before continuing on to Baltimore. Enjoy games in Camden Yards, Citizens Bank Park, Yankee Stadium and Citi Field before ending the trip with a game at historic Fenway Park. What a great way to explore the northeast, while enjoying our national pastime. In addition to the Bananas, experience the game through the eyes of an umpire at our Ump's Eye View program with retired umpire Al Clark. Check out some special memorabilia at the Hall during our Artifact Spotlight. So join us for three nights in Cooperstown as this one baseball weekend will drive even the biggest baseball nut - BANANAS! Thu, September 14, 2023 to Sun, September 17, 2023Alaska, home to breathtaking scenery that needs to be experienced in-person. In addition to the beautiful landscape - we do have baseball! The Midnight Sun Game is an amateur baseball game played every summer solstice at Growden Memorial Park in Fairbanks, Alaska. The sun is out for nearly 24 hours a day, the game starts at about 10:30 at night and completes around 1:30 in the morning. Next,we will spend a few days in Denali National Park and Preserve. Measuring 20,310 feet, Denali is the tallest peak in North America. We end the trip with a visit to Anchorage for a glacier tour. This is a bucket list trip for sure!
