As a writer Dan has authored 36 baseball books and more than 25,000 articles about baseball. He is the author of The 300 Club: Have We Seen the Last of Baseball’s 300-Game Winners? and the co-author of autobiographies on Al Clark, Ron Blomberg, and Milo Hamilton.
Dan has contributed to Baseball Digest, The Sporting News, MLB.com, BaseballGuru.com, the All-Star Game and World Series programs, USA TODAY Sports Weekly, annuals, team publications, and baseball card projects.
As a public speaker, Dan entertains audiences on a wide variety of subjects, all with a touch of humor and irreverence that make him an unforgettable guest. He has spoken at the Babe Ruth Museum, Baseball Hall of Fame, and the Yogi Berra Museum.
Dan is host and executive producer of Braves Banter – an Atlanta Braves interview show heard Thursdays from 7:00-7:30pm ET on iTunes and BlogTalkRadio.com. He also contributes to Sirius XM Satellite Radio.
Historic Hotels of America named him “Journalist of the Year” for 2015. He also won two first-place prizes from the Garden State Journalists Association for baseball features in USA TODAY Sports Weekly.
