Dawson was a great player at Kentucky. Had the pleasure of meeting him a few years ago at an event, super nice guy, said he hopes to get into scouting in the NFL.

Place is a dump. You gave it a 9 on view? Out of what? 100? This stadium is arguably the worst in MLB. It's in the ghetto, the food is terrible, as is the team. No wonder the A's will be leaving this stadium. AT&T park right across the bay is a 10, nicest park in baseball. In my opinion, I'd give it a 3...

Excellent trip with my family members and friends. Unforgetable experience. Be present in the Induction ceremony is better than watch it in TV. Tour hosts extraordinary John, Robert, Bill and Susan.

Looks like a great trip. Fenway Park and the NEW Yankee stadium in one trip. If you can find shade, watching a game in the summer is great. Also, I cannot imagine a better tour guide.

When Ben and I went to this park, we wore our Dodgers jerseys. The Giants weren't even playing the Dodgers and about 1/2 way throught he game, the whole stadium starts shouting, "Beat L.A."....I can only assume that they showed us on the jumbo-tron. Within 10 minutes, we had a group of 8-10 drunks yelling all sorts of death threats, and throwing food at us. We had to have a ballpark attendant stand near us. To top it off, it was one game short and one section over from Barry Bond's record breaking homerun........can you imagine if a Dodger fan caught it? We'd be toast! Pretty glad we didn't....although Ben had a backup plan in case we did - he had a decoy ball ready to throw back on the field in order to keep the real one secretly....just to stick it to the Giants. Either way, I am glad to have kept my life.

When Ben and I went to the A's game.....there was this guy who oddly kept looking at Ben. Eventually, he came up to Ben and asked, "Hey, man, do I know you from anywhere?" Ben replied, "No." "Oh, you look familiar," the guy said. Ben just said that he gets that alot.
Shortly later, the same guy returns and asks Ben again, "Hey, man, I think I got it.....were you in the pen?" Ben laughs and says, "No, man, I've never been to jail, sorry!"

Funny but true story! Pretty ghetto stadium.....certainly not my favorite!

Hi Dr. Baker,

How are you? It's Jenny from CVCS. I am enjoying reading your blogs......I can tell you had a great time on the trip. You were busy...to do all that traveling! Wow! Dottie must certainly be patient....it's taking me almost 7 years to accomplish what you've done in such a short time. I'm on vacation now.....our baseball stop will be the Minnesota Twins this time around. There is still one baseball park that we are waiting to see and that is the Texas Rangers. When we were in TX, the Rangers were at an away game but we managed to see the Astros. Once we see the Rangers, we'll have seen all the MLB parks in the US, minus the new Yankees, Mets and soon to be Marlins stadiums.
Well, hope you are doing well. Praying that you and Dottie are blessed abundantly. I'll hopefully post all my baseball photos when Ben and I get done with our mission. :)

God Bless,

Great remarkes here for Chase, I arrived in PHX just days shy of the World Series in 2001. I was transfering from Chicago to be the new coach at the TGI Fridays that you saw and lo and behold the D'backs were going to the World Series! Awesome time I really do love this ballpark and I have seen a few! I am sure your trip has really been amazing and chock full o memories! But as you get closer to home I also bet that your getting homesick!
